Victoria is a three-time Paralympian and World Champion in rowing, who has won seven medals for Canada including Bronze in Rio. She is also an author, motivational speaker and Director on the CNIB's National Board. She was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at the age of 18. Jillian Gillis holds two diplomas from Nova Scotia Community College; Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and IT Database Administration. She also has many years of experience in various customer support roles.

Jillian was born with Aniridia, a rare genetic eye condition and is partially sighted. After dealing with some mental health challenges and re-evaluating her career path, she combined all of her skills to teach herself how to produce a podcast. Jillian created, produced and edited the podcast Self Love is Blind, which led her to work with AMI. Jillian loves her two cats, going out for walks to explore the city, listening to music and spending time with friends and family. She's proud to be a part of the AMI team, to help share stories and connect with the community.

Grant was born and raised in B.C. and is passionate about broadcasting and dragon boat racing. There's a real "techy" side to him too, as he's often exploring the latest gadgets and apps or offering technology training on a volunteer basis. Alex graduated from the journalism program at Mohawk College in 2016 where he discovered his passion for broadcasting and has previously worked for ET Canada and Global News. A self-proclaimed geek, he likes to spend his spare time playing board games, watching sports, and travelling. Originally from East Sussex, England, Beth followed her love, Cody, to Canada and has been here ever since. Born with optic nerve hypoplasia and latent nystagmus, Beth lost her sight in 2014. A die-hard soccer fan (Manchester U), Beth has fully immersed herself in the Oiler nation. We first met Beth at the CNIB's Employment Skills Bootcamp in Calgary. She and her guide dog, Patronus, are thrilled to be part of the AMI family.

Chris is a graduate of the journalism program at Algonquin College. His love for storytelling began when he was interviewed by a journalist at the CTV studios in Ottawa. Since graduating in 2019, Chris has worked on several media productions including Global TV’s juggernaut series, Big Brother Canada. He also led the digital news team at the Ottawa News Network for nearly two years. Chris has been living with epilepsy since the age of 6 and is a proud survivor of an eating disorder. Today, he continues to advocate for the disability community in Ottawa. In his free time, Chris can be found playing board games with his loved ones and volunteering in the community.
