    • UPDATE from The Canadian Press: The federal government has announced the largest settlement agreement in its history. Ministers say an agreement in principle has been reached with First Nations parties over compensating those harmed by its underfunding of child and family services on-reserve. It is set to pay out 20-billion dollars in compensation to kids who were removed from their homes, and another 20-billion to reform the child-welfare system
