AMI-audio swings back into fall with engaging, entertaining and informative programming for 2019.

It all begins with The Gazette, weekdays at 8 a.m. Eastern as Mike Ross, Daniel Panimondo and Jeff Ryman start your day off with all the latest news and headlines fresh off of the newswire.

At 9 a.m. Eastern from Monday to Friday it's Live from Studio 5. Available on AMI-audio and AMI-tv, Live from Studio 5 gets your morning started with all the news you need, the latest tech talk and information from the blind and partially sighted community across Canada. This fall, the team will focus on two events of particular importance to blind and partially sighted Canadians.

“In addition to the rich content listeners have come to expect from Live from Studio 5, it will provide unique insights on the upcoming Federal Election, and the rollout of the Accessible Canada Act," says Andy Frank, Manager, AMI-audio.

The ever-popular Kelly and Company (pictured above) continues in its current timeslot, daily from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern. Join Kelly MacDonald, Ramya Amuthan and their company of blind and partially sighted contributors for lively discussions about arts, entertainment and lifestyle issues.

Beginning on Tuesday, September 3, Joeita Gupta hosts The Pulse. Airing Monday to Thursday at 4 p.m. Eastern, The Pulse delves deep into issues around disability, health, advocacy, human rights and technology.

“Joeita Gupta is a wonderful host for The Pulse because of the level of her preparation, her engagement with guests, and her ability to empathize with listeners,” Frank says. Each instalment of The Pulse begins with a short monologue, focusing on the subject of the day. A long-form interview follows, as Joeita and her guests engage in conversation around that subject. The Pulse closes with the Thought of the Day, a statement or question inviting listeners to continue that day's conversation in their own community or engage with the show online.

Weekdays at 4:30 p.m. Eastern, tune in to Late Edition. Corinne Van Dusen, Andrika De Lanerolle, Ramya Amuthan, Sam Robinson, Jeff Ryman and Amy Amantea offer a concise live summary of what made headlines around the world today, as well as an engaging look into lifestyle and entertainment news.

On Thursdays at 8 p.m. Eastern, tune in to Double Tap Canada for discussions on news, reviews and technology stories of interest to people who are blind or partially sighted.

Friday, September 6, marks the return of The Neutral Zone. Broadcast Fridays at 4 p.m. Eastern, Brock Richardson and his team—including Cam Jenkins, Bret Wills and David Rukavina—are back with an increased focus on Canada's year-round Parasport activities, as well as offering its usual entertaining opinions on Canadian pro sports teams.

Voices of The Walrus, dynamic readings of thought provoking articles from The Walrus magazine, continues in its current day and time, Sundays at 7 p.m. Eastern. Reading program The Guardian This Week also remains in its current timeslot Sundays at noon Eastern, as does The National Post Show, Wednesdays at 8 p.m. Eastern.
